• Poorvakarma (Pre procedure)
Patient should lie in prone position exposing lumbosacral region
• Pradhan karma (Procedure):
1. Prepared dough is fixed on area to be treated.
2. Medicated oil is made warm by keeping vessel in hot water tub.
3. Oil should be poured inside along the sides of dough
• Pashchat karma (Post procedure):
1. Oil should be removed with the help of spoon, cotton gauge or foam.
